FC Bayern is looking for a “real six”. According to consistent media reports, RB professional Konrad Laimer is Julian Nagelsmann’s absolute dream player. The 24-year-old is said to be open to a move to the record champions, but has many other options in the summer.
As the “BILD” reports, Bayern’s sports director met with Laimer’s advisor last week and expressed Munich’s interest in a transfer in the summer. Accordingly, the FCB is currently preparing an offer of 18 to 20 million euros. According to the newspaper, you don’t want to spend more on the Leipzig star, which is only tied to the Saxons until 2023.
Laimer is open to a change in the summer
While Leipzig are keen to extend the Austrian’s expiring contract, the latter seems open to a summer move. In the “kicker meets DAZN” podcast he commented as follows: “You should ask yourself every summer what the next step is for you personally. I’m a guy who is very ambitious, who wants to play for everything at some point.”
At the same time, however, the midfielder made it clear that he is currently fully concentrating on Leipzig and will only start thinking regarding his sporting future following the cup final.
Nagelsmann wants Laimer
In addition to Bayern, there are numerous other interested parties for the ÖFB kicker. Manchester United and many other English clubs are also said to be interested in Laimer. According to “Sky” information, however, he can well imagine a move to FCB.
The same applies to Julian Nagelsmann, who says he is looking for a “pressing machine” for the new season. The fact that Nagelsmann and Laimer still know and appreciate each other very well from their times together at RB Leipzig also speaks for Bayern.
