Both the openers took an aggressive approach from the start and rained six boundaries, taking notice of all the Multan Sultans bowlers.
Fakhar and Lynn gave their team a brilliant 100-run start, after which Fakhar was stumped on the last ball of the 9th over to play out of the crease, scoring 57 off 35 balls before being dismissed.
From the other end, Chris Lynn continued his aggressive batting and formed a good partnership with captain Sohail Akhtar to pave the way for his team’s victory.
The Australian batsman played an unbeaten innings of 113 runs off 55 balls with the help of 12 fours and 8 sixes.
Lahore Qalandars won by 9 wickets and made it to the semi-finals of the Pakistan Super League for the first time, where they will likely face Karachi Kings.
