It is a difficult ordeal that crosses Laëtitia Milot. The star of Plus Belle La Vie has not hidden, for years, her fierce fight once morest endometriosis. Indeed, this disease, which is characterized by the anarchic development of tissues similar to the uterine lining outside the uterus, leads to acute pain and difficulty in becoming pregnant. The actress knows something regarding it since she struggled with infertility for eleven years, more precisely until 2018 when she gave birth to little Lyana with her husband Badri.

It was in 2007 that the actress discovered that she had endometriosis. “When I was younger, during menstrual pain, I had more or less severe pain. The doctor and those around me told me it was normal, it’s normal. And in fact, as and when , these pains increased, it took on enormous proportions, like a jackhammer in the stomach, in the head”, she explained in Paris Match. Determined, the young woman she was then showed admirable courage: “I’m going to have difficulty having a child, okay. But that, I don’t care, I’m going to go, I’m going to have hope and I will have one one way or another.”

At 42, the disease that affects one in ten women has unfortunately caught up with the actress. Accompanied by her daughter and her husband, the one who made her return to the screens with Tomorrow Belongs to Us confided her pain in front of the cameras of 50 Minutes Inside. “We would have liked to give a brother or a sister to Lyana. We wanted to, unfortunately it’s not possible. It’s no longer possible…”, began Badri, with a tight throat, followed by the actress moved to tears “I had the uterus removed. I had no choice.” Far from letting herself sink, Laëtitia Milot raises her head to move forward, at all costs. Looking at her daughter, she then explained: “I don’t want to feel sorry for ourselves, even if it hurt us a lot. But life has already given us this magnificent gift, Lyana who is our daughter. . We’re going to make the most of it.” The visibly very united couple then sketched a smile before concluding: “We have no right to complain. We have already had this enormous chance”.
