Trees are to be expected in a forest. The judges of the Supreme Court (OGH) recently had to move out to this important clarification. The reason for this was a case from Lower Austria that was brought to the highest court: A lady of the castle complained that the surrounding forest was growing closer and closer to her building and the trees were casting shadows on the old walls. The judges did not understand this complaint (OGH May 2, 2023, 4 Ob 44/23h).
