Lady Gaga humorously recounted how former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal had unknowingly revealed to the whole world that she had just become engaged to her companion Michael Polansky.
On July 28, former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal published a video on social networks where Lady Gaga introduces her companion Michael Polansky as her “fiancé”.
A video that went viral and panicked the American celebrity press. Lady Gaga, who formalized her relationship with businessman Michael Polansky in 2020 on Instagram, had however decided to keep the information secret.
“I thought he was joking.”
However, rumors of an engagement had been circulating since April. Lady Gaga was notably photographed wearing a diamond on her left ring finger. The singer returned to host Graham Norton’s set this week with this announcement.
“We got engaged on April 1st. At first, I thought he was joking! That wasn’t the case. It was very nice,” said the star of the film Joker Folie à deux, in which she plays Harley Quinn.
“Then we went to Paris for the Olympic Games,” continued the singer, who participated in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. “The Prime Minister had his team with him who filmed us during the meeting.”
A secret
“They filmed me while I introduced him as my fiancé. I tried to keep him a secret,” she lamented. And continues with humor: “Then they announced it to the whole world! But it was fun.”
Michael Polansky is currently CEO ofOuter Biosciencesa company he co-founded that aims to tap “underexploited resources” to improve skin health, according to its Linkedin page.
