Lady Gaga and Chris Rock host Oscars

A good three weeks before the Oscars are awarded, the film academy announced the first star presenters who will be handing out trophies at the gala.

In addition to singer and actress Lady Gaga (35, “House of Gucci”), comedian Chris Rock (57), Oscar winner Kevin Costner (67), Zoe Kravitz (33, “The Batman”), Latina star Rosie Perez ( 57, “Fearless”) and actress Youn Yuh Jung (74, “Minari”) are on stage as prominent helpers.

Last year, Youn became the first South Korean to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. More contributors will be announced in the coming weeks.

This year’s Oscars at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood are scheduled for March 27th. Actresses Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are set to take the stage to host the 94th Academy Awards.
