Without announcing exact numbers and reasons, representatives of the press service of the AvtoVAZ concern shared information that this week will be six days. On Saturday, January 20, the assembly line for LADA Niva Legend and Niva Travel 2024 will operate for nine hours. At the same time, those workers who go to work on this shift will receive double pay.

By the way, this information has official confirmation. In particular, there is a corresponding order, which has been signed and entered into force. This data was shared by the community “Atypical AvtoVAZ» on the social network “VKontakte”. Particular emphasis is placed on the fact that this SUV assembly line worked in this mode almost every day last year (photo: LADA).

It also became known that production volumes of these models will increase starting next month. On the other hand, the implementation of this plan is a big question, since the welding and painting lines operate in a limited mode. This is largely due to the shortage of some components. In addition, the head of the plant, Maxim Sokolov, does not exclude the possibility that the previously announced plans for the current year for the production of finished products may be adjusted. This is due to a significant decline in sales, although the brand is still considered a leader.

At the same time, it became known regarding the launch of pilot production. For now, only the welding line is operating.
