He noted that he stood up during their number not because of the vocals, he had another reason for this: to support the participants so that they “don’t close down,” but, on the contrary, do something that will be a step forward for them. “The biggest problem with this performance, it seems to me, was not even that it was not rehearsed, but that you were trying to be someone you are not. We just didn’t believe it. You’ve been playing at someone all the time. You haven’t even grown up to this image yet. Therefore, the essence comes first, and only then everything external. But you had a lot of externals, but so far little substance,” the singer voiced his point of view.
The quartet from Cuba SOL KARIBE, the folk choir “Fighting Girlfriends” from Volgograd, PÚSHKINA’S SÍSTERS, DiaCapella, and “Magicians Voxa” from Moscow also failed to advance further. For their performances they scored 94 and 100 points respectively. Now they will go to the finals with the winners of other qualifying rounds to compete for the Show Cup and five million rubles.
