To forget the heat wave a little, music lovers can take advantage of the coolness of the tall Ramier trees on the banks of the Ariège, by coming to listen to music and dance at the ephemeral guinguette. During these evenings in Lacroix-Falgarde you can also have a drink and/or eat in a friendly atmosphere.
Saturday, July 23 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., introduction to contemporary dance with Pauline, dance teacher. Free and joint participation.
Several concerts on the program:
Friday July 22 from 7 p.m. the eight musicians of the Old school funky family (OSFF) will come to set the mood.
This group, created 16 years ago by a group of high school students, has performed more than 300 concerts in France and Europe and released 4 albums with its fierce desire to sow its groove on all stages.
Saturday July 23 from 7 p.m. the group of six Toulousaines “La Bruja” will ignite the guinguette to the sound of South American cumbia and feminist songs from around the world. With funk influences, traditional Occitan music and contemporary music, this is an opportunity to share a moment of celebration and musical madness.
Sunday July 24 from 6 p.m. the “Basa Duo” with Baba Sayon Diabaté on the Balafon and Elsa Keita on the guitar, will take the public to distant and unknown lands as if by magic.
The complicity of these musicians takes us into a new style, World-music-dynamics. Sung in Malinké and French, with traditional West African roots, a cultural and instrumental mix that propels it into the air.
