Farzan Shah said that last October there was a boxing championship in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and there were also trials for the national championship in which Alhamdulillah won a gold medal in the 52 category and was also selected for the national championship, but the funding from the sports board The reason for not meeting was that our entire team could not go.

Javed Iqbal, Assistant Director of the Accounts Department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Board, told Independent Urdu that the Sports Board’s job is to bring forward the sportsmen of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and help them, but due to the lack of funds, the Sports Board has asked the provincial government. has been sent to the CECM for approval, but due to the caretaker government in the province, the approval of the Sports Board’s CECMs, which also includes funds for sponsorships and children’s scholarships, has not yet been approved.

He said that as soon as the provincial cabinet approves the schemes for releasing the funds of the sports board, the outstanding scholarships will also be released to the players.
