Labor immobility in the country was extended until December 31, 2024, published the Minister of Labor, Francisco Torrealba, on Twitter, accompanied by an image from the Official Gazette.
In this way, layoffs of employees in both the private and public sectors are prohibited. This was ordered by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, Torrealba pointed out.
This extension will begin to count from January 1, 2023, in order to “protect the right to work.”
