There are few accidents at work in Läänemaa, but the papers are out of order

Although Läänemaa is one of the safest counties to work in in terms of the number of occupational accidents, the Labor Inspectorate found deficiencies in 30 of Läänemaa’s 34 companies in occupational safety. Kristel Plangi, head of the prevention department of the labor inspection, does not agree with the attitude that the labor inspection bullies small companies by demanding a risk analysis. According to him, it is necessary that small companies also think about their risks – what can happen and how to reduce the risk.
