Palivere does not want a new career under his belt
Palivere county council decided unanimously that it does not agree with the geological research works of the planned sand quarry in the village of Kaasik. “There are quarries around Palivere,” said Risto Roomet, chairman of Palivere sub-district council. “We don’t have such a world view that you can do it, but not in my backyard. But the career does not suit Tammik in any way. After all, this is an area within the town.”

It is definitely worth taking a look at the exhibition of school and final works of the students of the Haapsalu Vocational Education Center in the lobby of the Haapsalu Cultural Center. No high art or eclectic concept, but lots of masterful finger, wood and other work that will make the eyes of every viewer shine. Nowhere can you feel the hours of work, sweat or tears that went into all of this, which, according to exhibition coordinator Marju Heldema, no one can measure.
