Argentina has one university in the THE rankings The 30 best hotels in Latin America, 3 among the 50 best and 8 among the 100 highest rated hotels.
The National University of La Plata, ranked 28th, is the first university in the country to appear in the registry (the University of Buenos Aires does not participate); Córdoba, ranked 47th; Santo The University of Martin is ranked 52nd and the National University of Cuyo is ranked 70th. UNCo ranks No. 100, marking the first time the company has participated in this ranking.
The top 100 list includes two private companies: Austral (ranked 43rd) and Católica (ranked 98th).
What factors are considered in THE ranking?
To evaluate colleges, they take The 18 indicators are divided into five areas. The area with the greatest weight in defining the score is Teaching, research and citation. The remaining two are related to Commitment to industry through knowledge transfer and international integration Measure the number of foreign teachers and students.
Among the top ten, seven are from Brazil, two from Chile and one from Mexico. The University of São Paulo ranks first, followed by the State University of Campinas and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in third.
The rankings were officially announced last Monday at Universities Australia headquarters in the presence of national Education Minister Carlos Torundel. Lionel Korsunsky, representative of the UNCo delegation in the Municipality of Buenos Aires, attended.
THE Index is published by a magazine of the same name published in London. It is the UK’s leading publication in higher education.
