There will undoubtedly be the very large crowd, Sunday followingnoon then in the evening, at the Parc de la Résistance, in Alleur (Ans, in the province of Liège). The reason ? La Méga Guinguette orchestrated by DJ Oli Soquette and his entire team (from the Cour des Carrioles). The premiere of the season, from 2 p.m. The festive (and free!) event, expected for months, should bring together several thousand people. Especially since we will remember that the last of last season had to be canceled. In Crisnée, the rain made the terrain impassable and the assembly impossible.
So, will the good weather be there this Sunday in Alleur? A sunny day is announced. And in order to best preserve the tranquility of local residents, traffic measures have been established, indicates the local police.
– Rue de la Résistance will be closed to traffic except for local residents and other duly authorized persons. Parking will also be prohibited.
– Rue de la Vallée as well as rue de la Jam, Clos Armand Pickman, avenue des Pruniers and avenue des Aubépines will also be closed to traffic.
– Parking will also be prohibited on either side of the Route Militaire roadway (in its section between the Voie des Botresses and the Chemin de Berlin) as well as rue de Waroux (from the crossroads formed with the rue de la Résistance to at the crossroads with the Drève de Waroux).
Three load shedding car parks planned
Event participants are invited to park at one of the following three relief car parks:
– Athénée Royal d’Ans car park accessible via rue G. Truffaut
– Decathlon Alleur car park (shuttle provided by the organizer)
– Cora Rocourt car park (shuttle provided by the organizer)
The shuttles (2 € round trip) are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. As with each edition, a bouncy castle will be installed on the site for the children to have fun while the parents sing and dance.
“It’s promised this time, there will be enough bars and foodtrucks”, promise the organizers.
