Atletico Madrid beat Girona 2-1. Angel Correa’s double goals helped Athletic Club. Rodrigo Riquelme was Girona’s scorer. Sevilla, who came with a new coach, drew 1-1 with Atlético Bilbao. Sevilla sacked Yulan Lopetegui following further setbacks and appointed Jorge Sampaoli as coach. Valencia beat Osasuna 2-1.

Bundesliga: Dortmund beats Bayern

Dortmund: After trailing by two goals, Borussia Dortmund fought back with two goals in the last quarter of an hour to draw a dramatic draw in the German Bundesliga ‘Classic’ match once morest Bayern Munich. Substitute Anthony Modeste equalized in front of their home crowd with a goal in the last minute of injury time. Italian Serie A: Milan wins

Rome: Milan teams win in Italian Serie A. AC Milan beat Juventus 2-0 while Inter Milan won 2-1 once morest Sassuolo. Ficoyo Tomori and Brahim Diaz scored Milan’s goals once morest Juventus. The goal was a solo move by Diaz who got the ball near the halfway line. Edin Dzeko’s double goals gave Inter the win. David Fratesi scored Sassuolo’s goal. Bologna-Sampdoria and Torino-Empoli matches ended in a 1-1 draw. AC Milan is in third place with 20 points. Inter are seventh with 15 points.
