The International Folklore Meetings return with a program expressing the symbiotic links of certain peoples with our planet.

FESTIVAL. The 48th edition of the International Folklore Meetings of Friborg will begin under the sign of traditions, on Monday August 14 in Fribourg. A program in tune with the times will be presented since it will indirectly address our relationship with the Earth through dancing communities. The latter will do us the honor of representations related to these centuries-old ways of life and customs.
The public will get to know nine ethnic groups of dancers called “Guardians of the Earth”, in view of their privileged relationships with their imposing, arid or even majestic environments.
