“These results once once more validate the relevance of our strategic choices as well as that of our positioning”, commented Bettina Ducat, Managing Director of La Financière de l’Echiquier.
La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) recorded strong net inflows of €920 million in 2021, following record net inflows of €1.7 billion in 2020. Assets under management now stand at 14, 5 billion euros at 31.12.2021, compared to 12.2 billion at 31.12.2020. LFDE’s average annual growth has thus reached 19% over the last 3 years.
This collection dynamic confirms the relevance of the strategy deployed in a complex and volatile context. The acceleration of SRI continued in particular, with 14 funds now benefiting from French or foreign labels and a range of impact funds enhanced by a third fund. At the end of 2021, SRI and Impact strategies represent 7.7 billion euros in assets, small and mid cap strategies 5.6 billion and global and thematic strategies 2.6 billion.
In 2021, LFDE is also confirming its anchoring with institutional clients, once once more having a record year with this client segment, bringing assets under management to nearly 6 billion euros.
The demand for quality of service, the expansion of impact and thematic ranges as well as the consolidation of LFDE’s roots in France and Europe remain the priority strategic development axes that will be pursued in 2022.
“These new record results once once more validate the relevance of our strategic choices as well as that of our pioneering and innovative positioning”, commented Bettina Ducat, Managing Director of La Financière de l’Echiquier. “Fruits of the expertise of our management team, they are the foundation of La Financière de l’Echiquier’s leadership”.
