Les Chaux-de-Fonniers remain third in the Swiss League but see the Bernese come back. The Valaisans are still trying to grab sixth place.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds lost the match at the top of the Swiss League evening on Tuesday. Third in the standings and guaranteed to participate at least in the pre-play-off, the Chaux-de-Fonniers lost on the ice of fifth, Langenthal 5-4 ap (0-2 2-0 2-2).
Thierry Paterlini’s men had however started the game well by scoring twice in the first period thanks to David Eugster (2nd) and Arnaud Jaquet (8th). But these good intentions were thwarted by the Bernese who returned to two everywhere at the dawn of the third third.
