Under the provisions of this legislation, a maximum of 2,000 inhabitants are recognized as communes and between 2,000 and 10,000 inhabitants as municipalities. With more than 10,000 inhabitants, they have been recognized as cities. Obviously, the size of the region determines to some extent the size of the city radius. However, this is not a condition of the law. Each urban radius includes the area where permanent municipal public services are provided (which may be all or part of it), as well as the surrounding area where services are planned to be provided in the future.
In this sense, surveying becomes an important task, both in the division of urban radii and in the treatment of plots within them. At the same time, it also puts forward strong demands on local municipal management; similarly, it is also related to various political interests.
The problems are diverse: technical and legal requirements beyond surveying operations, high administrative costs, registration in the municipal registry, lack of knowledge or responsibility of local visa holders, etc.

In this sense, on May 8, the authorities of the School of Civil Engineers (CIC), accompanied by the leadership of the School of Surveyors, held a meeting with engineer Héctor Bupo and graduate Mariella Paschetta. Both officials are responsible for the Bureau of Municipal and Community Affairs of the Provincial Government of Córdoba.
Due to population growth and the increasing number of locations, the Directorate of Municipal and Public Affairs has been working since 2006 to update urban areas to meet the needs of the times. It was reported at that meeting that 120 new urban radio stations were currently being approved.
A central theme of the meeting was the need to “homogenize” municipal visa procedures, that is, to unify the different legal, administrative and technical standards of each city or commune. Finally, localities that have not yet done so are encouraged to develop minimum standards.
Technical and legal requirements extend beyond the scope of measurement operations.

Regarding the approval of new municipal radio stations, the importance of clear criteria for the current procedures was emphasized. In many cases, rural plot modifications are carried out in “intended” urban areas (subdivisions and subdivisions, etc.), and when submitted to the Cadastral Office, these plots are converted into urban plots, resulting in the following Conflict: Need.
Another issue raised was property visas, regularization of buildings and management of native forests (Law 98.14). In this sense, it is recommended to fundamentally analyze the legal aspects and responsibilities of municipalities in order to develop clear standards or guidelines for professionals, municipal technical departments and citizens at large.
Finally, the current authorities of the College of Civil Engineers and the College of Surveyors suggested participating in regional community meetings and making recommendations as a means of nuclear efforts and contact with representatives from all locations. At the end of the meeting, all parties committed to work on the recommendations made and achieve results in the short term.
This will not only mean improved processing conditions for professionals, but will also provide legal security and speed for all actors involved in and interested in this field of acting.
