On the 21st of today, the “summer solstice”, a low pressure system moved eastward near the Yellow Sea, and a seasonal rain front extended to the vicinity of Kyushu, causing rain to fall over a wide area of Kyushu.
The hourly rainfall was 34.5 mm (05:05) in Shinkamigoto Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, with heavy rainfall, and 29.5 mm (04:57) in Goto City, with heavy rainfall.
