(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Soon-Hyun Lim = Kyung-Hoon Lee (31) and Si-Woo Kim (27) tied for 13th with an even par in the third round of the Wells Fargo Championship ($9 million total prize money) on the PGA Tour.

Kyung-Hoon Lee and Si-Woo Kim hit an even-par 70 with two birdies and two bogeys, respectively, in the third round of the tournament held at the TPC Potomac (par 70, 7,160 yards) in Potomac, Maryland, USA on the 8th (Korean time).

Starting on the 10th hole (par 5), Kyung-hoon Lee increased his momentum by catching birdies on the 13th hole (par 4) and 14th hole (par 4), but hit a tee shot into the bunker on the 18th hole (par 4). After trying to record the first bogey, he missed a 4.9m par putt on the 2nd hole (par 5) and hit a bogey.

Kim Si-woo, who started on the 1st hole (par 4), recorded a bogey on the 2nd hole, but made up for the at-bat by successfully putting a birdie regarding 9m on the 5th hole (par 4).

Then, he added a birdie on the 11th hole (par 4) to reduce the number of strokes, but he missed a 4.2m par putt on the 15th hole (par 4) and finished the game with an even par.

Lee Kyung-hoon and Kim Si-woo, who recorded 1-under-par 209 shots over three days, moved up from the previous day’s joint 29th to 13th.

As the weather got cold due to the rain for two days in a row, it was difficult for the players who played in the game to keep their bats.

Of the 12 players in the top 10, only three players under par were Keegan Bradley, Cameron Young (USA) and Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland).

Jason Day (Australia), who was the sole leader until the second round, lost 9 shots on that day and fell to a tie for 13th.

On the other hand, Bradley, who was tied for 7th until the second round, took the lead alone with an 8-under 202 shot by reducing three strokes to five birdies and two bogeys.

Max Homar (USA), who hit a 1-over-par 71, took second place alone for two days in a row with a 6-under 204, and Korean player James Han (USA) tied for third with a 4-under 206.

Defending champion McIlroy, who was tied for 50th until the second round, reduced his two strokes to four birdies and two bogeys in the third round, and raised his ranking to a tie for sixth place with a 2-under par 208.
