The Barstool Sports Twitter account posted a meme with the Joker in front of the hospital he blew up, dedicating it to the point guard “Brooklyn” Kairi Irvingu.
“Kairi Irving destroys every team he plays for, ”the message says.
The star basketball player reacted.
“*NBA Champion and *Gold Medalist Kyrie Irving.
Just thought this statement needed a little tweaking since you are already making money from my name and the names of many others,” Kairi wrote.
Irving was close to leaving the Nets on Monday. He received permission to look for a new team, but a suitable exchange option was never found. As a result, he activated the option and remains for the season-22/23.
