While discussing one of his left hand floaters once morest the board in the NBA Finals on the latest episode of The Shop, Kyrie Irving explained that he was originally left-handed, but was forced to switch to his right hand when he was young:
“- The Catholic school didn’t let me stay left-handed.
– Were you left-handed first?
– Absolutely. I was getting my fingers tapped for writing with my left hand. It was old school, it must have been 1996.
– Do you write with your left hand?
– Yes. I can do both.
– Are you ambidextrous?
– Yes, both sides of my brain are unlocked. »
