Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Mareva Grabovski at the Biden dinner at the White House, what the NATO leaders ate – 2024-07-14 18:39:48

The White House called it a social dinner and not a working dinner as is customary on the sidelines of NATO Summits, and so the atmosphere was more relaxed for the leaders of the 32 member countries of the Alliance, including Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife Mareva Grabovski.

The dinner started right following the meeting of Kyriakos Mitsotakis with Recep Tayyip Erdogan and for this reason the prime minister left almost running in order not to delay his arrival at the White House. As you will see in the photos, Kyriakos Mitsotakis sat next to the Soltz couple.

What did the leaders eat?

The dinner was relatively modest on the menu and started with grilled peaches from the Catoctin Mountains near Washington and Camp David where many US presidents tend to vacation.

Also, radish and endive salad and tender romaine salad with white balsamic dressing.

Grilled beef tenderloin and Alaska Cod.

Potatoes with butter and herbs (Potato Pave) and stuffed zucchini flowers accompanied by parsley sauce.

For dessert he had Panna cotta with lemon and licorice and red berries and ice cream with mascarpone and honey.

The wine served to the leaders was a 2021 Ridge Estate Chardonnay and a 2009 Morlet Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Mon Chevalier’ red, while Roederer Estate Brut Rose sparkling wine was also flowing.
