Kylie Minogue has announced her 2025 tour and a new album.
The 56-year-old singer revealed on Instagram on September 19 that she is preparing to release her 17th studio album, Tension II, next month.
“LOVERS… TENSION II… The sequel with NINE new tracks will be with you on October 18th!” she wrote in her message, adding that the first single from her upcoming album, Lights, Camera, Action, will be released on September 27th.
Tension II is the continuation of the album Tension by Kylie Minogue, released in September 2023. The studio album included hits such as Delete Delete et Things We Do for Love.
However, this was not the only good news from the singer, who then announced that she would begin the tour The Tension Tour early next year.
“TENSION TOUR. You have no idea how hard it has been to hide all the planning and preparation from you. But the time has come and I can’t wait! CAN’T WAIT!” the artist wrote.
Kylie Minogue will kick off her tour on February 15 in Perth, Australia. She will perform a series of other shows in her home country before heading to Asia, where she will perform in Bangkok, Tokyo, Kaoshiung and Manila. In May, the singer will stop in Europe for nine shows across the UK, starting in Glasgow on May 16 and ending in Birmingham on May 31. Further dates are yet to be announced.
