Finneas has defended her sister Billie Eilish over her 10-year relationship with boyfriend Jesse Rutherford. The 25-year-old singer said, “I just want my sister to be happy and safe. She’s a 21-year-old adult who can make her own decisions.”
Last month, Finneas – who co-writes and co-produces Billie’s tracks – insisted he wishes his sister only well.
Asked regarding this new romance, he said: “As long as she’s happy, I’m happy”
In addition, Billie Eilish recently admitted that falling in love terrified her in the past.
During an interview with Highsnobiety, she revealed, “Falling in love is hard for me. It’s terrifying, love. It’s really terrifying.”
The star added that she thinks the internet complicates relationships and that’s why she preferred to keep a low profile regarding her love life. The singer also admits that being in a relationship with Jesse makes her want to cry with joy. “I might cry just thinking regarding it,” she added.
