Press reports revealed the existence of a clause in the French star’s agreement Kylian Mbappe The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid, is eligible for the Ballon d’Or if he completes his move to the club next summer.

Mbappe is very close to signing for Real Madrid following he informed Paris Saint-Germain of his departure at the end of the current season.

The French website “footmercato” confirmed that Kylian Mbappe (25 years old) will receive a reward of 15 million euros if he wins the Ballon d’Or with Real Madrid.

The star Mbappe has never won the Ballon d’Or, and he ranked third on the 2023 list behind Lionel Messi, the winner of the award, and Erling Haaland, the second.

The site continued that Real Madrid placing this clause does not seem very surprising, as it has already done this in the past, as Karim Benzema received one million euros during his Ballon d’Or victory in 2022, and he also obtained a contract extension for another year.

Meanwhile, the Spanish newspaper “Marca” announced the full details of Kylian Mbappe’s contract with Real Madrid, as Mbappe will become a Real Madrid player starting next July 1, for the next 5 years.

“Marca” confirmed that Mbappe’s salary with Real Madrid will range between 15 and 20 million euros annually, and that the signing bonus is unknown, but it is less than what he would have received if he moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2022, that is, less than 130 million euros.

The famous newspaper explained that the reward will be divided over 5 years, bringing the total amount Mbappe receives annually in rewards to approximately 50 million euros.
