Led by five-scorer Kylian Mbappé, Paris St. Germain have stormed into the last 16 of the French Cup against old rivals Olympique Marseille.
The champions easily won 7-0 (4-0) at sixth-division side US Pays de Cassel. World Cup top scorer Mbappé scored his first goals of the new year (29th, 34th, 40th, 56th, 79th).
The other goals contributed Neymar (33rd) and Carlos Soler (64th).
Mbappé wrote several times in the history books against the hopelessly defeated outsiders from the Dunkirk region. He was the first PSG player to score five goals in one game.
In the domestic cup, 24-year-old Mbappé is now the top scorer with 29 goals, tied only by former Marseille striker Jean-Pierre Papin.
