As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, of ESPN, Kyle Anderson has reached an agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The same source reported that the former Memphis Grizzlies player will sign for two seasons at a rate of regarding 18 million total.
Anderson is an interesting player due to his great defensive level combined with his incredible steal rate. In the past two seasons alone, Kyle has averaged 1.2 and 1.1 steals per game and helped make the Grizzlies one of the best defenses in the league. Plus, he has some interesting offensive skills that might make him a good complement to Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards.
Last season, Anderson averaged 7.6 points and 5.3 rebounds off the bench. Despite the Grizzlies’ strong season collectively, Kyle has opted to try his luck outside of Memphis, perhaps seeking more individual prominence.
