Vienna – The series of KV agreements in the autumn wage round following the first agreements in various metalworkers’ collective agreements continued on Friday. From January 2024, 110,000 employees in the metal industry will receive 8.5 percent higher KV minimum wages and 8.2 percent higher actual wages. 18,000 apprentices receive up to 16.5 percent more – and uniquely in the context of a KV in Austria – also a climate ticket. The Pro-GE union announced this in the evening.
