Kuwait City: It is reported that 100 percent indigenization will be achieved in 10 areas in Kuwait by this year. Local media reports that the government has already rejected requests by several government agencies for more time and delays in Kuwaitisation.

Ten sectors will be fully Kuwaiti and all ministries, institutions and government agencies will be replaced by expatriates and employed by nationals. Rapid steps are being taken in the fields of IT, Marine, Media, Public Relations, etc. The total number of Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees in the government sector is approximately 4,746,000. It is estimated that 76.0 percent of them are Kuwaitis.

Riyadh: Lifetime health insurance is being implemented in Saudi Arabia. Health Minister Fahd Al Jalaj said that a single premium insurance under the name of ‘National Insurance’ will be implemented by mid-2024. He was speaking at a gathering held as part of the World Health Forum in Riyadh. Once the policy is taken out, there is no need to renew it.

It is fully government funded insurance. This will continue for a lifetime. There is no specific time limit. No prior approval is required to get the insurance benefit for the treatment. The purpose of National Insurance is to provide health care facilities at all stages of a person’s life.
