“Kuwaiti Couple Arrested for Abandoning Six Children – Shocking Details Revealed”

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti police arrested a couple who left their home and left their six children. Both of them went to live separately with their two friends when there were family problems besides losing their jobs and not being able to live. It was left at home along with a three-month-old baby.

A 42-year-old husband and 38-year-old wife were arrested. Both are Egyptian. They have four daughters aged twelve years, seven years, four years and three months and two sons aged fourteen and three years. Due to family problems, the husband moved away from his wife four months ago and moved in with a friend. He left his wife and six children in the apartment without food. A few days ago the wife also left the children and went with a friend. With this, the two eldest children took turns not going to school and taking care of their three-year-old sister.

One of the children called the operations room of the Ministry of Home Affairs and informed them that their parents had abandoned them and that they had not eaten anything for two days. As the information was conveyed to the higher officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the children were provided shelter and food. When she called her husband, he told her that he had lost his job and had no money, and that started problems with his wife. He said that he has been staying with his friend for four months but he is paying all the expenses of his children. When he asked his wife, he informed that he had no money and left the house when he was unable to take care of the children. A case has been registered once morest both of them for negligence of child care.

Sheikh Talal Al Khalid, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense of Kuwait has instructed not to renew the family’s iqama following considering the report given by the police. The authorities have decided to send them to their own country. But the minister also instructed to give them temporary iqama till the end of this academic year.
