KUWAIT CITY> Officials revealed that the official system of the Kuwait Ministry of Finance was attacked. A virus attack occurred on a computer in the Ministry of Finance on Monday morning. The ministry has confirmed that the protection protocol system has been activated and the hardware devices have been disconnected following the cyber attack. Officials also stated that necessary security measures have been taken. At the same time, the government’s financial servers and other functions within the ministry are continuing without interruption, officials said.
