Kuwait plans to increase natural gas production from 500 million cubic feet per day, to regarding one billion cubic feet.
There is a refinery in Mina Al-Ahmadi that includes a gas liquefaction plant and pipelines for exporting liquefied gas and refined petroleum products. The refinery receives liquefied gas to produce fuel gas and convert it into an energy source that can be used in electric power stations, multiple industries, and home and commercial facilities.
Kuwait is an oil country, more than a gas producer, as it produces 2.8 million barrels of oil per day, according to data from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
