The Ministry of Health condemned the attack on a female doctor at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, and affirmed in a statement its full support and support in all measures that preserve the rights of health practitioners, in the face of such reprehensible and unacceptable behavior.
During the statement, the Ministry reiterated its keenness to preserve and protect all rights of health care providers, confirming its communication with the doctor, following up on the circumstances of the incident, and taking the necessary legal measures regarding this unfortunate incident, in accordance with the new Profession Law No. 70 of 2020.
While the ministry expresses its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the various health, technical and administrative cadres, it reiterates that it will spare no effort in providing a safe and appropriate work environment to perform their lofty mission, as required.
