Kuwait City: Urgent Notice to Collect Pending Civil ID Cards | My Identity App and Official Transactions

Kuwait City | Public Authority for Civil Information spokesman Khaled Al Shammari said there are still 1,94,000 Civil ID cards pending in the machines at Civil ID offices in Kuwait. He also requested the cardholders to collect these from the machines as soon as possible for smooth operation and distribution.

Currently, the number of My Identity application users has crossed 30 lakhs. The My Identity app is being considered as an alternative to the Civil ID card for official transactions, private sector banking, etc.

The ID is issued within three working days from the date of submission of the application. He stated that the work for resumption of civil ID card delivery service is in progress and the tender procedures for the same have been completed.
