Kuwait Airways launches flights to Salalah, Oman The traditional water salute was given and the dofari was adorned with the fragrance of incense. Kuwait Airways operates two flights a week between Salalah and Kuwait on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Salalah Airport Executive Vice President Salim bin Awad Aliafei received the Kuwait Airways flight. Officials from Oman Airport, Salalah Airport, Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Royal Oman Police and the Kuwaiti Embassy in Muscat were also present. Salalah Airport Executive Vice President Alim bin Awad Al-Yafe said at the ceremony that more people are expected to arrive in Salalah this year, including from Gulf countries. Kuwait Airways CEO Maine Razouki said the service to Salalah was launched as part of a plan to expand their network around the world.
