(Keystone-ATS) Logistics company Kühne+Nagel is managing a new distribution center for Danish brick giant Lego in Truganina, in the Australian state of Victoria.
The 26,500 square meter facility, with a storage capacity of 26,000 pallets, relies “on cutting-edge automation to optimize operational processes”, according to the Schindellegi firm’s press release published Thursday.
It will distribute Lego products to customers, both businesses and end consumers, across the island continent and New Zealand.
Francis Murugan, head of Kühne+Nagel Australia, noted in the document that this project demonstrates “our growth strategy and our desire to expand our footprint and distribution model in the Pacific, while strengthening our partnership with the Lego group.
