Kozhikode: KSU State Vice President P. Muhammad Shammas has alleged that K. Vidya, involved in the fake documents case, also committed fraud in M.Phil. Vidya, who is associated with SFI leaders, did her M.Phil at Caladi Sanskrit University from December 2018 to December 2019. During the same period from June to November 2019, he also worked as a Malayalam guest lecturer at Kaladi Sri Shankara College. She broke the university rules and worked as a student in one place and as a teacher in another. Received fellowship from university and salary from college. She continued as a teacher until she was elected as the General Secretary of the Sanskrit University Union on 25 November.
During the year 2019-20 when he was the General Secretary, PhD was admitted through the back door. 20 percent SC-ST reservation is mandatory as per UGC regulation. It was not met in Vidya’s PhD admission list. It should be investigated how Vidya participated in the Kannur University evaluation camp following overcoming the requirement of three years of teaching experience. However, KSU alleged that the response of the leaders including EP Jayarajan was like seeing a blind elephant.
