Thiruvananthapuram ∙ KSRTC Chairman’s instruction to collect information regarding private stage carriage and contract carriage permits in the name of KSRTC employees.
Tempo, trucker parallel services, taxi, industrial and commercial enterprises should be notified. The instruction is to inform the Executive Director (Administration) through the district authority within 15 days. Disciplinary action will be taken if information is not disclosed or concealed. The inspection comes in the context of receiving complaints regarding employees in some districts.
Rajamanikyam IAS conducted such inspection when he was KSRTC CMD. It was found that the employees were running parallel services. Information of such vehicles and business ventures belonging to KSRTC employees or close family members should be reported.
Details of such vehicles and enterprises in the name of the employee’s father, mother, wife, husband, brother, sister, son, daughter, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law should be disclosed. A specific model form has been provided for disclosure of information.
