Kris Jenner writes on Instagram that her sister Karen has passed away.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday, Jenner, mother of Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, announced the grief.
“Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny,” she writes.
Only sibling
Kris and Karen, née Houghton, were born three years apart in the mid-50s. They grew up with their mother Mary Jo in San Diego, California.
According to TMZ Karen was found dead at her home in San Diego on Monday. The police do not suspect any crime.
According to TMZ, Karen has worked as a nurse and writer over the years. She leaves behind a daughter.
