On Sunday, the Kremlin declared that there was no basis for any possible dialogue with Ukraine, and that there were also no preconditions for possible talks.
“There is practically no precondition for reaching an agreement at the moment. Moreover, there is no basis, even flimsy, for any kind of dialogue,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russia’s state television.
In detail, Peskov explained, quoting the Russian agency “TASS”, for the “Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin,” in a clip posted by the presenter of the program on the Telegram application: “What we see is the Kiev regime’s lack of desire or willingness to conduct negotiations,” adding that “their masters do not allow them to conduct negotiations without any political evasion,” according to the text of the statement.
Peskov also pointed out that the statements of Ukrainian President Zelensky regarding Ukraine’s possible membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) speak of Kiev’s “unwillingness, unwillingness and inability” to solve existing problems at the negotiating table.
On the ground, the Russian military operation in Ukraine continued today, Sunday, amid violent confrontations between the Ukrainian and Russian forces, at a time when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke of a Ukrainian counterattack without providing additional details.
The governor of Russia’s Kaluga region said on the “Telegram” application that two drones crashed early this morning in the region. He added that one of them fell near the village of Strelkovka and the other in the middle of forests in Medinsky district. He added that the fall of the two marches did not result in any injuries, but caused minor damage, according to preliminary information.
