Before the race it rained in Kranjska Gora and the slope had to be heavily worked on. Lara Gut-Behrami started fourth and was able to handle the nasty conditions well. She finished in third place. The Ticino woman only lost 15 hundredths to the leader Petra Vlhova. Mikaela Shiffrin didn’t do as well; the American is already almost a second behind. The second Swiss woman, Michelle Gisin, made it into the second run more than a second and a half behind.
