Congratulations on the election success. With the election slogan “affordable housing”, the KPÖ plus got a lot of votes, since a large part of the population can no longer afford the terrible rents. Kay-Michael Dankl has been a municipal councilor in the city of Salzburg for years, but the rents have not changed at all. How come? He obviously didn’t realize that the non-profit developers weren’t doing justice to their role in social housing. The city must reallocate more green land to building land and take the housing into its own hands. So he’s just a wolf in political sheep’s clothing following all.
