THE Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to grant prevention status to a foreign national (WNA) with the initials SHJB. The coercive effort is related to the alleged corruption case of land procurement in Rorotan, North Jakarta.
“That on July 5, 2024, the Corruption Eradication Commission filed a six-month travel ban for one foreign national with the initials SHJB,” said KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Tessa was reluctant to detail the complete identity and country of origin of the party being prevented. The coercive efforts were certainly to facilitate the needs of the investigation.
“The ban is related to the investigation into alleged corruption in land procurement at the Rorotan location, DKI Jakarta by BUMD SJ (Perumda Sarana Jaya),” said Tessa.
The KPK has questioned many people to investigate this case. Most recently, Racer Zahir Ali was questioned by investigators. The Anti-Corruption Agency said he was involved in this case.
The KPK said the price-raising method was detected in the alleged corruption of land procurement in Rorotan, North Jakarta. The difference in funds for payment reached Rp400 billion.

The KPK has named a suspect in this case. However, his identity is still being kept secret until the arrest is made.
Investigators have also sent a letter requesting prevention for ten people to the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to ensure that the parties concerned do not travel abroad for the time being. The coercive measures are valid for six months.
Budi only wanted to detail the identities of the parties prevented. They are private party ZA, two private employees MA and NK, three entrepreneurs FA, LS, and M, two managers of PT CIP, DBA and PS, Notary JBT, and Advocate SSG.
