Kpalimé hosts the first government seminar of 2023

In Togo, the work of the first government seminar of the year 2023 opened on Friday March 24 in Kpalimé (120 km north-west of Lomé) during a ceremony chaired by the Head of State Faure Gnassingbé.

For three days, the members of the government and the experts present will review the level of execution of the priority projects of the TOGO 2025 government roadmap and their impacts.

The government team is called upon for renewed mobilization and an acceleration of actions which must deliver convincing results and have a significant impact on the daily lives of populations.

“We will methodically assess the level of progress of the projects included in the government roadmap, in order to adjust the actions remaining to be carried out as best as possible. In a context of persistent effects of the various crises, our ambition is to further mobilize the government team and accelerate the implementation of projects, in the interest of the well-being of our populations”, indicated the head of Faure Gnassingbé State.

Launched in October 2020, the government’s roadmap has the vision of building “a Togo in peace, a modern Nation with inclusive and sustainable economic growth”. It is broken down into three strategic axes and 42 priority projects and reforms.

Before the opening ceremony, Faure Gnassingbé offered himself in the tourist town of Kpalimé, a walkregarding with a popular and warm welcome offered by the local authorities and the populations, in a pleasant atmosphere of freshness following the morning rain .
