Kovid: Health Minister instructs officials to be vigilant | Covid-19: Mansukh Mandaviya tells officials to stay alert, enhance surveillance

New Delhi: Health Minister Mansook Mandav has issued a warning on the spread of Kovid in Asian countries, Europe and India. It is reported that the Minister of Health has also directed to take precautionary measures and conduct genetic sequencing of the samples.

The health minister has also called a high-level meeting amid rising numbers of Kovid patients. A senior official told the Hindustan Times that the health minister had given important instructions at the meeting. The health minister has suggested that importance be given to strengthening monitoring.

After China, Kovid spread to South Korea. Four lakh cases were reported on Wednesday. This is the highest number of confirmed daily cases in the country since the outbreak. Most of these cases are due to local prevalence.

With this, the number of confirmed cases of Kovid in the country has reached 7,629,275, according to the Korean Disease Control Agency (KDCA). On Tuesday, 293 Kovid deaths were reported in the country. Kovid is also making a comeback in China following a hiatus. Millions are under strict lockdown control. On Wednesday, 3,290 cases were reported in China. Of these, 11 are in critical condition.
