Kovid expansion; More control for Umrah pilgrims

As the spread of Kovid in Saudi Arabia increased, more restrictions were imposed on Umrah pilgrims. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced a 10-day interval between the two Umrahs. Pilgrims from foreign countries can perform Umrah three times in 30 days.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has imposed more restrictions on the Umrah pilgrimage in the wake of the growing spread of Kovid in the country. Earlier, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had said that locals and foreigners within Saudi Arabia should perform the next Umrah only 10 days following performing it once. However, officials said the rule would now apply to pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia.

Umrah pilgrims from foreign countries are allowed to stay in the country for 30 days. During this time, Umrah can be performed three times at intervals of 10 days. In addition, the entire code of conduct must be adhered to, such as wearing a mask and maintaining social distance. Umrah can be performed on people from 12 years of age who have received the Kovid vaccine. Once you get a permit for Umrah or prayer through the Tawakkalna Itamarna app, its timing cannot be changed later. However, the permit can be canceled up to four hours before the time allowed for Umrah. At the same time, the ministry said that even if it is canceled, the next permit for Umrah will be issued only ten days later.
