Kovid cases are declining; Do not take the case even if you are not wearing a mask! Central directive to states

The Central Government has demanded the withdrawal of measures taken under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 for the prevention of Kovid in view of the declining number of Kovid cases in the country. The Center has directed the states to avoid cases of masquerade, mob and Kovid violation.

The Center also said that the recommendations given by the Ministry of Health on the use of masks and hand washing should be continued. In a letter to the state chief secretaries, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla said the states might take appropriate action in the event of an increase in Kovid cases in the future.

The Union Home Ministry had in 2020 imposed restrictions, including on masquerades, to prevent the spread of the Kovid. The order expires on March 25. It is suggested that these restrictions should not continue following this. But as a precaution, it is better not to use masks and sanitizers, the home ministry said.
